The American Popdarts League (APL) is the official home for sanctioned Popdarts competition across the U.S. Whether you’re a player, league organizer, or tournament director, this is the hub that makes it easy to run your own sanctioned events, track rankings, and connect with the national Popdarts community.

Origins
Where Popdarts came from
A backyard game out of the South Carolina Lowcountry that now has a national ranking system and a televised championship.
The game
Popdarts® is made by PD Games LLC, founded by brothers Josh and Jason Carman in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Popdarts® is their registered trademark.
The league
The APL is the official governing body of the sport and operates under license from PD Games LLC. Its first full season runs September 30, 2025 – September 29, 2026, with rankings scored through Scoreholio.
The stage
APL events are broadcast on ESPN2 and ESPN+ — including ESPN The Ocho — and the National Championship carries a $25,000 prize pool.
